Counterfeit Fraudulent And Suspect Items (CFSI) Policy:

CSFI are components whose age, composition, configuration, certification or any other characteristic are different to those of authentic goods, but are still represented as being original. The following list describes some of the ways that CFSI may be identified by XLE:

• Deceptive marking of any materiel, packaging or labelling.
• Deceptive documentation, e.g material or test certification.
• Any actions intended to delay or avoid disclosure of any required technical information.

XLE has a range of standards, procedures and arrangements that will mitigate the risk of CFSI, these include:

• All XLE personnel involved in procurement have received awareness training in CFSI to ensure they are a Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person (SQEP) in the conduct of their duties.
• All suppliers are scrutinised and verified by SQEP staff in accordance with XLEs onboarding and continuous review processes.
• Detailed technical specifications are issued to suppliers.
• All supplies are provided with a certificate of conformity.
• A robust response to any CFSI event. This includes removal and replacement of suspect CFSI concurrent with a detailed investigation where learning outcomes will be incorporated in XLEs overarching quality continuous review program.
