XL Engineering Ltd has laser equipment which can cut sheets up to 3m x 1.5m x 20mm thick. Laser cutting is quick, clean and accurate as well as having many applications across a variety of sectors. We can accurately manufacture complex profiles, in a timely, economic way whilst producing less waste. Our state of the art laser offers unbeatable repeat-ability and consistency.
We use the Trumpf TruLaser 3030 4KW laser cutting machine
Sheets sizes up to 3m x 1.5m and thicknesses up to 20mm Mild Steel, 15mm Stainless Steel, 10mm Aluminium

XL Engineering Ltd and its CNC and Press Work processes ensure we produce high quality components from a wide range of materials, which conform to our customer’s specifications with precision and accuracy.
We have a range of different press machines which enable us to cover a wide range of products, reducing set up time and allowing maximum outputs levels.

At XL Engineering Ltd we are able to supply fabrication work which includes both sheet metal work and machined parts.
MIG & TIG Welding
XL Engineering Ltd has a highly skilled and time served workforce use our own precision jigs which enable us to produce high quality components efficiently.
As many of the components XL Engineering produce are exposed to extreme weather conditions, lasting protection is essential. Finishing will prevent deterioration and corrosion, as well as ensuring the products look good for longer.
We offer in house powder coating alongside anodising, zinc plating and galvanising using our network of approved partners
We use a 5 stage process to degrease, pre-treat and dry the components to ensure excellent adhesion of the paint finish. We use a zirconium based thin film conversion coating prior to powder coating This system helps us to reduce the impact on the environment and eliminates many health and safety issues which can occur with alternative methods.
